The basic design of our body allows us to operate pain free. The natural balance of the spine acts to stabilize all other joints in the body. When this balance is disrupted, from injury, or habitual patterns, pain eventually occurs.

Do you pay attention to your body? Are you tuned in only when aches and pains show up on the scene?

We usually fail to tune into the effects of a gradual deterioration of our musculoskeletal systems and other physical functions.  Small losses accumulate over time without overtly registering to us.  Sensitive to a receding hairline, an emerging paunch, or a new crop of skin blemishes~living on the surface~

We are numb to the workings of the inner body.  Numbness is not a sign of good health!

We must develop an awareness to the posture!

Without realizing it, we no longer associate wellness and well-being with using our bodies the way they were intended to be used.  Physical activity stops feeling good to us.  When we lose that elemental reference point, we lose our bearings.  We don’t know what makes us feel healthy, and worse, we don’t know what makes us feel sick!

Ignorance may be bliss when it comes to the mysteries of auto

repair or computers, but for our musculoskeletal systems, ignorance is pain.

MOTION + DESIGN = FUNCTION

Flexibility HAS to exist to enable motion!

Posture is the key to unlocking pain in the body!

         Pilates helps restore balanced posture!
